Week 1 — Corridor cartography

Sketch the payment path, cut-offs, and data owners. Produce a one-page map your sponsor can mark up.

Week 2 — Risk hypotheses

Convert vague worry into testable statements about FX timing, beneficiary validation, and liquidity holds.

Week 3 — Sampling without theater

Build a sample that is defensible under challenge, including why certain high-volume quiet days stay out.

Week 4 — Control tests in the wild

Run three tests against incomplete exports. Document blockers instead of inventing clean passes.

Week 5 — Findings language

Write issues that separate design gaps from operating failures, with owner-ready remediation prompts.

Week 6 — Residual risk & handoff

Package the file, present to a mock audit committee, and log what still needs monitoring after class.

FAQ

Do I need prior internal audit experience?

Helpful but not required. You should already read payment exception reports or partner SLAs in your day job.

Is the dataset from a real Korean bank?

No. We use anonymized composite logs modeled on Korea-linked corridors. That is a real limitation: you will still need to adapt field names and partner quirks to your production systems after the course.

Can my whole control team join?

Yes. Cohorts cap at 18 seats so instructor reviews stay personal. Team seats are invoiced together.
